Tony Zorzynski, RN
Tony has an extensive background in the government arena spanning over 30 years having served tours of duty with the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Public Health Service. His career in aviation incorporates fixed and rotor wing operations to include strategic planning, solutions strategies and project management. A Registered Nurse with over 25 years of experience, he has provided direct support and assistance with medical programs in coordination with the U.S. Marshals Service, Bureau of Prisons, Immigration and Naturalization Service, U.S. Border Patrol, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. State Department, World Health Organization, and multiple Foreign Governments in Central and South America, Asia, Europe and Africa.
A former officer, Tony retired from military service in 2003. From 2005 to 2010, Tony worked with an international air ambulance company as a staff nurse, Programs Director, Chief Flight Nurse and eventually became Vice President of Operations. In 2010, Tony joined with Aviation One Medical Transport Services as their Director of Operations. In that capacity, he monitors the daily flight operations of the company, assists with payroll and scheduling, produces weekly work assignments and provides assistance to medical staff on flight duty.
A graduate of the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, Flight Nurse Program, Tony has traveled extensively both internationally and domestically delivering health care on land, sea and air. Since 2005, Tony has been involved with and supervised multiple initiatives that have resulted in the incident and accident free, medical transport of over 400,000 passengers
